"Balancing The Books" is a character-driven suspense drama about Julia (Dina Meyer), who enlists the help of her friends (Lea Thompson and Lela Rochon) to confront a traumatic experience. Julia seems to have it all - except the right guy in her life. But her friends don't know about Scott (Vincent Spano), a charming man with a secret background whose actions have pushed her to the breaking point. The women take matters into their own hands and underestimate the consequences. Scott forces them into a desperate situation and everyone pays a price. (Co-starring Ed Begley Jr., Ernie Hudson, Tess Harper)

Welcome to the 2008 Beverly Hills Hi-Def Film Fest
The Beverly Hills Hi-Def Film Fest and The Fine Arts Theater Proudly present the Los Angeles area's only All HD Film Fest. Dec. 26th 2008 - Jan. 4th 2009.

Filmmakers receive the opportunity to screen their films in the best facility in Southern California. The beautiful and historical landmark Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills using only state of the art video and audio equipment. The Fine Arts Theater has just undergone $280,000.00 in upgrades. Is the only movie theater in the nation with the following equipment in-house: 35mm with both Dolby Digital 5.1 & 7.1, Dolby E, Dolby 2D and 3D D-Cinema, Quvis D-Cinema, HDCAM-SR, D5, HDCAM, HDV, HD-DVD, Blu-Ray, D-VHS, Digi-Beta, Beta-SP, DVCam, Mini-DV and DVD. All films are screened from the in-house Christie 2K D-Cinema projector.

This is an excellent opportunity for promising Independent films to be seen in High Definition that otherwise may not gain wide distribution.
